About the Role:
Our client is a fast-growing US/EU startup building enterprise AI infrastructure for financial institutions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of commercial experience as a Python Backend Developer (FastAPI / async preferred);
  • Strong PostgreSQL: data modeling, SQL, indexing, query planning, transactions, performance tuning;
  • Systems fundamentals: Linux, networking basics, concurrency, profiling, debugging, memory, scalability;
  • Architecture judgment: maintainable code, testing, observability, deployment best practices;
  • End-to-end ownership & clear direct communication with technical founders;
  • Daily use of AI coding assistants (Claude Code / Codex / Cursor) with strong review habits (understands the code, no “AI slop”).
  • English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher.

Nice to have:

  • MCP / AI agents / agent observability / AI memory;
  • Identity management (e.g. Entra ID, OAuth2, OIDC);
  • Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure);
  • Go (CLI tooling / microservices);
  • React + TypeScript / Node.js.
