VMworld is the largest virtualization-specific global conference, hosted by VMware. First held in San Diego, California in 2004. Educause is a nonprofit association in the United States whose mission is "to advance higher education through the use of information technology". The Educause Annual Conference programming is derived from member-driven content organized across overarching IT tracks and hosts one of the largest exhibit halls in the industry.
