The blockchain based platform - Totalizator. The goal of this R&D project was to validate the possibility of using blockchain technology in order to create an objective betting platform.

SOLUTION

As a result, we built simple MVP allowing to create differently argumentative questions to be posted by any user of the platform, as well as placing bets on any of those questions assuring nobody can cheat the game.
Users are encouraged to create interesting and popular questions by giving the reward of 0,5% of the betting sum. The platform earns by getting 0,5% of betting sum on each question

Fairness of the Game

Nobody can break fairness of the game without everybody knowing

No Inside Thread

The system has almost no backend, running on a distributed ledger. There is no way for anybody to control the system. Administrator and developers will not be able to influence the platform in any way

No Outside Thread

Hackers would not be able to hack into your server, cause none exists. Hacking into a distributed ledger requires having more computing power that already exists in the system
