About the project

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Middle Manual QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects in the FinTech, EdTech, and AgroTech domains. As a Middle Manual QA, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of web and mobile applications by executing comprehensive manual testing, creating detailed test documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results. The ideal candidate is proficient in testing methodologies, backend testing, and API testing, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in manual QA;
Experience in testing web and/or mobile applications;
Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies;
Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation (test plans, test cases, checklists);
Confident in test design techniques and defect reporting;
Understanding of client-server architecture and REST APIs (Postman or similar tools);
Basic experience with SQL and working with databases;
Practical experience using browser DevTools and working in test environments (logs, deployments);
English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher (spoken and written).

Would be a plus

Experience with backend testing and microservices;
Knowledge of localization testing;
ISTQB certification;
Basic performance testing knowledge.

What you will do

Work in a QA team to analyze business requirements, create and execute test cases, and report and verify bugs’ to guarantee the quality of the developed enterprise-level e-commerce solutions;
Actively participate in daily project team meetings and brainstorming activities related to the project;
Provide updates to the task estimates and status of assigned tasks;
Collaborate with project team.
Provide recommendations to the QA Lead and/or Project Manager to improve QA-related procedures, systems, and tools;
Estimation of separate feature / own tasks;
Provide a positive, polite, and open-minded style of communication;
Good verbal and writing English language skills.
