Requirements

● 3+ years of experience in DevOps/Development;
● 2+ years of experience with Ubuntu-like Linux and Windows environments;
● Proficient with Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure provisioning and environment orchestration;
● Solid hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, especially (but not limited to): Container Apps, Functions, Static Web Apps, PostgreSQL Flexible Server, Redis, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor;
● Good understanding of Azure networking concepts: VNETs, private endpoints, managed identities, and secret management;
● Good understanding of container-based deployments (e.g., Docker, Azure Container Apps);
● Experience with CI/CD tools, primarily GitHub Actions and GitLab CI;
● Working experience with PostgreSQL and Redis; general familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL systems is a plus;
● Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring and logging using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana, and Loki;
● Strong foundation in networking: TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, TLS/PKI, and network security principles;
● Confident working with Git-based version control systems such as GitHub and GitLab;
● Intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English.

What you will do

● Deploy, maintain, and support multiple Azure-based environments;
● Provision and manage infrastructure components such as virtual machines, containerized services, databases, and networking using Terraform and Terragrunt;
● Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend microservices and frontend deployments using GitHub Actions and GitLab;
● Create and manage release workflows, integrating platform-level deployments with multiple environments;
● Configure and monitor infrastructure observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Grafana stack (Alloy + Loki);
● Troubleshoot and optimize containerized environments on Azure Container Apps;
● Implement security best practices, including identity management, access control, and secure secret handling via Azure Key Vault;
● Support cost optimization efforts by reviewing resource usage and scaling configurations;
● Manage database operations: provisioning, configuration, replication, and migration (primarily PostgreSQL);
● Collaborate with developers to define and implement non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, availability, scalability);
● Write scripts or automation code to streamline DevOps workflows and environment setup;
● Maintain clear, constructive, and collaborative communication within the team;
● Act as the primary point of ownership for infrastructure stability, scalability, and incident response.
