About the project

A multi-model generative AI (chat) centric and security-centric web application

Requirements

Proven experience with the MERN stack and TypeScript 5+years;
Strong expertise in Next.js 14+ (including App Router) and front-end development;
Ability to implement designs from tools like Figma with precision and attention to detail;
Solid understanding of AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, SAM, and ECR;
Experience with Docker for building and deploying applications;
Excellent debugging skills, particularly with inherited and poorly written code;
High level of independence, ownership, and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Would be a plus

Familiarity with security and encryption concepts;
Experience building AI-centric applications, especially chatbots or RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) applications;
Knowledge of Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure as code;
Experience with payment APIs, such as Stripe.

What you will do

Implement front-end designs based on files from Figma (or similar tools) into an existing Next.js 14+ App Router framework;
Handle full-stack development using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) combined with TypeScript and Next.js;
Develop, secure, and deploy applications using AWS technologies such as Lambda, SAM, DynamoDB, and ECR;
Work with Docker for containerization and deployment;
Debug and work effectively with existing (and potentially spaghetti) codebases;
Take full ownership of the application’s development lifecycle, including security, scalability, and user experience.
