Senior/Lead React.js developer

This project is a Software as a Service (SaaS) that helps people find a house for rent in The Netherlands. We do this by sending alerts by email or WhatsApp as soon as they come online, giving our customers a chance to be amongst the firsts to apply and get invited to viewings. Senior/Lead React.js developer

Requirements.

  • 5-6 years of professional experience as a React Developer;
  • JavaScript: Deep understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+);
  • Frameworks/Libraries: Expertise in ReactJS, TailwindCSS;
  • Experience with Socket.io;
  • HTML/CSS: Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processors like SASS/LESS;
  • State Management: Experience with state management libraries such as Redux;
  • Responsive Design: Proven experience in developing responsive web applications;
  • Cross-Browser Compatibility: Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions;
  • Build Tools: Proficiency with build tools like Parcel, Vite or Rollup;
  • Version Control: Expert use of Git, including branching and merging strategies;
  • Testing: Experience with unit testing (Jest, Mocha), end-to-end testing (Cypress, Selenium), and integration testing;
  • Performance Optimization: Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques.

Would be a plus.

  • Frontend: Asp.net Core.
  • Backend: Asp.net Core.
  • Database: Sql Server.
  • CI/CD: Github Actions.
  • Cloud: Azure.
  • Experience with WebRTC, Canvas (fabric.js), NodeJS.

What you will do.

  • Lead Front-End Development: Drive the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance web applications;
  • Architectural Decision Making: Make informed decisions on front-end architecture, design patterns, and best practices to ensure maintainability and scalability;
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver cohesive and robust applications;
  • Code Quality: Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure high-quality code through testing and best practices;
  • Performance Optimization: Implement and advocate for performance optimization techniques to enhance user experience and application responsiveness;
  • Autonomy: Demonstrate the ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision;
  • Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate them into projects when appropriate;
