Best sustainability product
Hydraloop
The Netherlands company Hydraloop has developed a recycling system of the same name to save water in residential buildings. The technology received the CES 2020 award as the best innovation in the environmental sustainability category.
The system is quite simple to connect and purifies 85% of household water, including 95% of drains from showers and washing and 50% of drains from washing. Purified water cannot be drunk, but can be used to fill pools, drain tanks and water plants. The cleaning system does not use filters, so nothing needs to be changed. Instead, it relies on six purification systems, including sedimentation, bacterial treatment, and ultraviolet disinfection.
The fact is that the water inside the system maintains room temperature, so you do not need to use extra electricity on its re-heating. According to the creators, in homes that use electric water heaters, this saves about 600 kWh per year.
The cost of Hydraloop is $ 4,000. The average American family pays about $ 840 a year for water, so the device will pay off in about five years.

Zero Zero Robotics V-Coptr Falcon
Last month, Zero Zero Robotics introduced the V-Coptr Falcon unmanned aerial vehicle, for which a circuit with two propellers, rather than four, was chosen, as is the case with the currently popular quadcopter drones.
The V-Coptr Falcon Bicopter, capable of staying in the air for 50 minutes, is shown at CES 2020.
According to the developers, reducing the number of engines and propellers made it possible to reduce weight and improve aerodynamic performance. As a result of which the flight time increased to 50 minutes, whereas for a similar quadcopter it is 30 minutes on average.
The drone is equipped with a frontal stereo camera, which allows it to perceive space and automatically fly around obstacles if the horizontal speed does not exceed 7 m / s. The main camera is built on an image sensor manufactured by Sony. The CMOS type sensor is characterized by an optical format of 1 / 2.3 inches and a resolution of 12 megapixels. The camera is suspended on a three-axis stabilizer and can shoot 4K video with a frequency of 30 fps, 2.7K video with a frequency of up to 60 fps or 1080p video with a frequency of up to 120 fps.
The drone can move along a previously laid route or obeying manual control commands from a controller whose radius of action is 7 km and the autonomy reserve is 2.5 hours.
Bikopter is already available for order at a price of 999 dollars. Shipment should begin in February.

Dell XPS 13 (2020)
The new ultrabook is 2% smaller than last year’s model, while it has a 0.1-inch larger display. This is made possible thanks to the InfinityEdge display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Frames on all sides of the screen are minimal.
The keyboard now extends over the entire width of the case, the touchpad area is increased. The key travel of the new laptop is only 1 mm. The new Dell XPS 13 has 10nm Intel Ice Lake 10th Gen processors in Core i3, i5 and i7 options. Many memory configuration options and three display options are available.
Dell also offers the XPS 13 Developer Edition, which will come preloaded with Ubuntu 18.04 LTS and with all the necessary drivers for compatibility.
The new XPS 13 is priced from $ 999, and a Linux-based version for developers will be available starting at $ 1,119.

Insta360 One R
On December 1, Insta360 made the announcement: "Our next camera combines sports, spherical, 1-inch camera and a drone." And at CES 2020, this intriguing product was presented. It was the Insta360 ONE R modular camera, which provides users with a wide choice in video capture methods. The company interestingly beat the format of a regular action camera, and the novelty naturally impressed the public.
Insta360 ONE R has a three-part design: a cubic module with a touch screen and a module with a lens are connected to the lower red platform where the battery is located, the latter can be installed in one direction or another, depending on the nature of use. For example, as a selfie camera, it will probably be more convenient to mount the lens on the side of the screen. All three parts are waterproof up to 5 meters when installed in the mounting bracket.
An important function is the automatic intelligent cropping of the priority direction during spherical shooting, as well as the ability to manually select (including voice commands) the tracking object. After shooting, the software analyzes the video sequence and offers the user the most interesting scenes in his opinion in the frame, making smooth accelerated transitions between them. You can add cinematic slowdowns or stabilized accelerations. The result is fascinating.
The price of this product starts at $ 549.99.
Most unexpected product
Sony Vision-S concept car
At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas 2020, Sony presented a truly unexpected project - a concept electric car called Vision-S. Outwardly, it resembles a cross between a Porsche Taycan and Lucid Air, but it was created with the participation of a whole conglomerate of companies that, to say the least, don't have a direct relationship to the auto industry.
The four-seater electric car is equipped with a whole system of 33 sensors, giving it the ability to navigate in space independently. The Vision-S driver's workplace consists of several monitors (the front panel of the Honda electric car is built on a similar principle), including side screens to which pictures from rear-view cameras are transmitted. It is also stated that Vision-S is equipped with acoustics that provides spatial sound: speakers are even integrated into the seats.
It is not yet clear whether Sony has plans for mass production of an electric car, or whether Vision-S will remain an abstract exercise in a new field for the company. Perhaps, the final stage in the development of the Vision-S biography will be just the appearance on the virtual tracks of the Gran Turismo Sport game . Nevertheless, its own electric car suddenly showed ... Sony :)
Best gaming product
Razer Kishi
At CES 2020, Razer introduced the Kishi game controller for the smartphone. This device resembles the Nintendo Joy-Con gamepad.
The controller connects to the smartphone via the Lightning or USB Type-C port (depending on the version you purchased) and is powered by the smartphone. If during the game it was necessary to charge the smartphone, a port is provided for this at the bottom of the controller.
This is a very cool product because it completely replaces the hardware control for your device. It is playing on the gamepad that makes familiar shooters or races much more interesting precisely because you can comfortably control the character in virtual worlds.
Price has not been announced.
Best TV product
LG CX-series OLED TVs
The LG CX OLED TV for sure will arouse great interest this year. The combination of picture quality, elegant design, premium built-in audio and LG’s winning webOS smart platform made 2019’s LG C9 an OLED TV for the history books. And while there have been some changes to its successor, the same benefits should still be on the show.
In a TV lineup with a few shake-ups – namely the cancellation of the E Series OLED, and the introduction of a new ‘gallery’ G Series display – the question is whether will the C Series keep its crown for another year.
An OLED screen this size is expensive to manufacture and we suspect it will probably land somewhere between $1000 and $1500.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite
The release of the new Note 10 Lite model suggests that Samsung decided to review Note devices. Previously, these were expensive gadgets demonstrating the full range of technological power of Samsung. But now Note is becoming available.
The Note 10 Lite is almost identical in appearance to the S10 Lite, the only difference is the slightly larger camera module and the lack of a headphone jack in the S10 Lite. However, the devices differ in terms of features and specifications. The Note 10 Lite has an S-Pen and low-power Bluetooth support. This means that the user can flip through presentations, manage videos, or even take pictures using the S-Pen.
The top of the line Galaxy S10 and Note 10 will top $1,000.

Dolby Vision IQ
Dolby Vision IQ, demonstrated at CES 2020 in Las Vegas, is an advanced version of the HDR standard that uses built-in TV light sensors to automatically calibrate the screen image according to the level of lighting in the room.
The Dolby Vision IQ option should strive to automatically adjust the brightness of playback of HDR content, not only depending on the illumination of the scene itself or frame. But now, and in accordance with the conditions in the room in which you watch TV. In other words, if you watch TV in the dark in the evening, then you will be given a brightness mode that will be easier for the eyes and will not illuminate the other side of the street through your window glass.

Wallbox Quasar
Several electric vehicles are presented at CES 2020, but the stations that charge them rarely deserve the attention of visitors to the exhibition. As a rule, these are just plastic boxes with cables.
This does not apply to the new Wallbox Quasar presented at CES 2020. First, it is probably the only electric car charger that has an attractive design. Secondly, it allows the car to power the whole house. For many, it will come as a surprise that the electric car has enough power to provide electricity to the whole house.
Although Quasar is not the first bidirectional charging device on the market, it is currently the first such device designed for residential use.
If the electricity in the house is turned off for one reason or another, the electric car in the yard, thanks to Quasar, becomes a backup battery on wheels, providing a TV, Wi-Fi router and refrigerator.
This bidirectional charger for homes is expected to cost $4,000.

Withings ScanWatch
Withings company (in 2016-2018 was a division of Nokia) introduced its new smartwatch called ScanWatch. This is an ordinary-looking analog clock with a built-in ECG scanner that can detect arrhythmia. In addition, the watch monitors the level of oxygen in the blood and can diagnose signs of sleep apnea.
Notifications can be viewed on a small screen that also shows steps taken, heart rate and calories burned. The wheel on the side is responsible for switching between the displayed parameters. It also allows you to run an ECG scanner. Scanning results are displayed both on the mini-screen and in the application on the smartphone.
The watch constantly monitors your heart rate in the background. If the device detects a change in rhythm, it will suggest an ECG. When you sleep, another sensor measures the level of oxygen in the blood, and in the morning you will receive a report on the quality of sleep and its duration.
Even with both sensors, battery life is up to 30 days: say goodbye to daily charging. The watch is available in two sizes (38 and 42 mm) and is covered with a sapphire crystal to protect it from scratches.
The novelty was estimated at 249 dollars.

Hydraloop
This is not surprising, since given that environmental problems are only increasing - we need devices that focus on the conservation of natural resources. We unequivocally support the high ratings of this device.
The CES 2020 exhibition is a vivid confirmation that this year will be technological and no less impressive than the previous one. We look forward to the next exhibition.
