Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Geniusee is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to work on a big project for concerts. Biggest service provider for this area in the UK.


  • 5 years of professional experience as a Site Reliability Engineer/DevOps;
  • Design and implement operations tools, services, and solutions for multi-cloud microserviced SaaS platform;
  • Embrace and apply Site Reliability Engineering standards and best practices across the technology platform;
  • Help drive the integration of monitoring, detection, and outage broadcast capabilities with observability and incident management tools;
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and other internal tools for scalable, efficient, and recoverable deployment of resources;
  • Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to reduce deployment cycle times;
  • Design and implement automation tools to improve developer experience;
  • Drive the creation and adoption of approved application/configuration templates to enhance code quality, security, and process stability;
  • Identify and implement solutions to improve developer experience through automation;
  • English: Upper-Intermediate.
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in software development, systems architecture, cloud-native services development, and automation;
  • Strong background in developing and deploying applications using modern web technologies;
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, etc.);
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools;
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, NewRelic, etc;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically;
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Knowledge of asynchronous notifications and handling using technologies like AWS SNS, SQS, and serverless architectures;
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
